How It’s Made is a documentary program showing how common, everyday items (including foodstuffs like bubblegum, industrial products such as motors, musical instruments including guitars, and sporting goods such as snowboards) are manufactured.
An offscreen narrator explains each process. Each half hour show usually has three or four main segments, with each product getting a demonstration of about five minutes, with exceptions for more complex products.

The Science Network officially launched Space Week 2008 on July 6th. Space Week 2008 will run from July 6 until July 11th, 2008.
Some of the programming that will be featured on Space Week 2008 include Moon Manchine, which features a special look at the the engineering that it took to luanch the US space prorgam.

Science Channel will debut a series of exclusive interviews with Ann Druyan, the co-creator of COSMOS and widow of the late astronomer Carl Sagan. The interviews will air as a marathon to COSMOS on Sunday, June 22nd from 10AM until 11PM ET/PT.

On May 14th I posted info about the new show on Planet Green called Greensburg. The show is about the rebuilding efforts that are taking place in Greensburg, Kansas after the tornado devastation in 2007.
Dave was kind enough to post a comment about the song playing in the commercial for the show. I haven’t gotten a chance to see the show yet but my sources are telling me that the song is “Anyway” by Martina McBride. Here is the video below. If you could listen and let me know if this is the song playing in the commercial.

Ever wonder how things are made? Discovery Channel’s  show, How Its Made, airs on Tuesdays-Fridays at 7PM ET/PT takes a look at how everyday objects are made. Its similar to the other Discovery show Some Assembly Required, and I can’t tell the difference between the two just yet.
