I Can Make You Thin premiered on TLC back in March 2008 and the premise of the show is that weight loss guru Paul McKenna could and would use his anti-diet approaches to help individuals lose weight. His technique is so good and its really basic psychology and behavioral change techniques.

I Can Make You Thin – Dissed By Best Week Ever

Paul McKenna’s self-help show on TLC, I Can Make You Thin was dissed by Best Week Ever in last nights episode. They poked fun of the finale episode called Your Perfect Body where Paul teaches guests how to become more comfortable with their bodies. His “negative talk” technique is one where he tells guests to use the negative things that they think and say to themselves as motivation. This is a proven science, but of course of the guys over at Best Week Ever didn’t get the concept. Oh well…maybe they can use Paul’s tips to get some self-esteem.

OK, so apparently, Paul McKenna  is more of a genius than I ever expected him to be. I’ve been doing some research on his books as well as his theories and he seems to have some what of a cult following out there.
