Who knew that Alter Eco’s Adrian Grenier even had a band? Well it seems that last month, November 8th to be exact, he and his band members, The Honey Brothers, provided the entertainment for the InterContinental Make A Wish Ball.

Adrian Grenier, from Alter Eco, and the guys from Entourage had a lot to celebrate recently as they welcomed season 5 of the hit HBO series with a premier party in NYC. The party was held on Wednesday, September 3rd at the Ziegfeld theatre in NYC.
Cast members including Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Doug Ellin, Perrey Reeves, Jeremy Piven, Mark Wahlberg, and Rex Lee showed up to join in the fun. The after party continued on at Mansion.

 Planet Green’s Alter Eco family will host a special fundraiser To celebrate the airing of Pharmaka’s Alter Eco episode and to raise funds for Pharmaka’s annual programming and operations budget.
The event will be held at a private residence in the Los Feliz area. Pharmaka is a 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to creating a creative and sustainable community in Downtown Los Angeles through cross cultural programming and contemporary art exhibitions.

I’m so not one to gossip and I know that I’m late on the reporting from with this, but I thought…hey, why not jump on the gossip bandwagon, just this once and get into the mix of things.
So we know our guy here, Alter Eco’s Adrian Grenier, has been in the news lately and its not because the show has been doing well.

I thought this was a cute little posting that I found on an equally cute site called Eco Chic. It was written by Starr and the headline was…”you might be an eco chick if”…
One that I loved most went back to my plastic bag posting a couple months ago. It said “you have so many tote bags that you end up giving the person at the checkout line behind you a couple to keep them from plastic-bagging it. You think that maybe some free reusable bags is all that it will take to convert them.”

The Friday, June 13th episode of VH1’s Best Night Ever featured one of the newest shows to air on Discovery’s new network, Planet Green. Best Week Ever featured a clip from Adrian Grenier’s show on the network, Alter Eco. The segment was called “green and sleazy”.
It was the 5th clip of the night and focused on building an environmentally friendly shower. They poked fun of the guy who was supposed to be building the shower and the sleazy that he brought along by counting how many women could actually fit in the shower. How gross!

So the premier of Discovery Networks Planet Greencame and went and I did my due diligence by attempting to watch all the shows that premiered during this first week. Overall, I liked the channel and for a green newbie such as myself it really helped to give me some insights and fill in all the gaps for me.
Renovation Nation premiered, which is hosted by Steve Thomas of “This Old House”.
