In A Season With Lions, After the Attack’s Dave Salmoni spends a year in Africa’s Kalahari Desert with a pride of lions in order to learn their secrets.
Dave Salmoni will be vlogging (and blogging) from the field from July to December 2008 while filming a new Animal Planet series on lions.
In thise episode Dave encounters a giant vertebra bone with a toothmark on the side causes Dave Salmoni to reassess how carefully he walks in lion country.

After the Attack Re-Runs for July

Dave Salmoni’s After the Attack on Animal Planetwas a success though it only had a few episodes. Dave wont be returning anytime soon as he he set to begin filming A Year with Lions.

The season’s episodes will begin airing on July 4th starting with the Cougar and Moose episode featuring the Hamms.
Episodes will air on July 4, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28th at various times on the network. Please check your cable television listings for the approximate times.

Discovery Channel’s Alaska Experiment will air a one hour special titled The Alaska Experiment: Back From the Wild. The special will be hosted by the ultimate survivor himself, Survivorman, Les Stroud.
The special will air on Tuesday, June 10th at 10PM ET/PT and will give viewers and insight into the trials and tribulations that the people who volunteered faced for over three months.

This is one of those posts that I wouldn’t ordinarily do, but after browsing around and then after posting the Sexy Stars of Reality TV  last month, I just had to do it. In Episode 4 of After the Attack we met Jeff Tanswell who’d been attacked by a 9 foot Saltwater Crocodile off the coast of Australia in Northern Queensland.

When Sea Lions Attack —MORE

What the video below from the After the Attack episode where Ella Murphy had been attacked by a Sea Lion off Australia’s Gold Coast.
Its an interesting video as they are at Sea World, which is where many of us usually get our first and probably only encounter with Sea Lions. They are very docile animals and this is being depicted by the video.

In episode 4 of After the Attack, we heard from Niki the paraglider that had been attacked by the two eagle. David then introduces us to Jeff Tanswell who has been attacked by a 9 foot Saltwater crocodile that engulfs his head and upper body.
He is a police Sergeant on Thursday Island which is just off the northern tip of Australia. He and his wife’s lifestyle revolved around the outdoors. Grizzly Bear Kills Man

The Associated Press is reporting that a grizzly bear killed a trainer at a private animal training facility located in Southern California. The county sheriff reports that three men were working with the bear at the Predators in Action facility when the bear bit the man in the neck. The man had died at the scene, there were however no other injuries as the staff used pepper spray to subdue the animal. Prayers go out to his family and all who spend their days working with rescued animals.
