Experience the journey of architecture students as they create buildings in the Sundance Channel original series ARCHITECTURE SCHOOL.

The six-part series premiered on the channel on August 20th and comes from co-creators Michael Selditch and Stan Bertheaud. The series follows a group of students at Tulane University’s prestigious School of Architecture in New Orleans.

The premise of the show is different from much of the designs shows that we may be familiar with such as HGTV Design Star. These are students so there are no eliminations, however, students submit competing designs for an affordable home in Katrina-battered New Orleans.

The stakes are high as the winning model will be built during the course of the school year and put up for sale, enabling one fledgling architect to begin his or her career with a high-profile splash.

Watch a 1-minute clip from episode 1 of the series where the students are beginning thier first design where they are designing thier 3rd home for residents of New Orleans. Watch as New Orleans’ residents speak about the struggles they face with obtaining a new home.
