The “Racing the Clock” episode of Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch originally aired on May 13th.

The crab season is winding down and all the fleets are racing to see who how they are gonna meet quota as well as how has done the best. For those of us who only watch for the action as well as the storms, The Time Bandit is trying desperately to make it back and pull in the pots through a raging storm with very strong winds as is evidenced by Greenhorn Shea barely almost getting clipped by a fallen cable.

A new vessel and a new captain joins the cast. The North American comes on board with their captain, Sten Skaar, but they aren’t all unfamiliar faces as Erik from season 2 is a member of their deckhand.

Overall, this episode was OK, getting reintroduced to some older faces was a treat as well as the action on board the Time Bandit. Tune in next week for more reviews and recaps.
