“Groomer Has It” with a Queer Eye Twist
Ordinarily I wouldn’t blog about Groomer Has It, but it premiered on Saturday, April 26th on Animal Planet and I was able to catch a small piece of the show. I really wasn’t going to watch until I saw who the host of the show was. Are you guys ready for this. So it seems that after years of teaching straight men how to take care of themselves, our favorite reality television “groomer” Jai Rodriguez from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, has moved on to a new task.
The premise of the show is that about 12 or so contestants will battle it out to determine who is the better dog groomer. Of course the show will have a bunch of challenges such as trying to guess the type of dog you are working with blind folded. The winner will take home the title of “Groomer of the Year” as well as a prize package worth $125,000. The show will feature guest judges such as Danny Bonaduce.
