Animal Planet’s Jeff Corwin on The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet

Animal Planet’s Jeff Corwin was a guest of The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet this AM. Jeff and a few African Elephants were the guests of the show. Jeff spoke about some of the challenges the African Elephants have been facing because of new laws enacted in South Africa.

Today the African Elephant is thriving in South Africa as a result of a conservation program. The number of African Elephants in South Africa are growing but the challenges that they face due to the growing human population of South Africa is causing problems. South Africa has recently lifted a ban on people killing the elephants. Concerns have been raised about the livelihoods of people who live in elephant ranges.
