Meerkat Manor…the video game?
February 7, 2008 by Healthy Shana
Would you play Meerkat Manor, the video game?
I could see myself now as Flower, leading the pack and getting into a couple fights here and there.
Well for us Meerkat fans out there the wait won’t be too long to take charge as your favorite Meerkat.
It seems that Activision(help me out here gamers) has teamed up with Discovery Communications to produce a series of video games based on the network channel shows.
As Meerkat Manor is Animal Planet’s highest rated show they have decided that it will be the first title to be released in the fall of 2008. Discovery Chief David Zaslav told Reuters the idea behind the deal was that Discovery is “really trying to get away from being a cable company and into being a content company”.

As a sim game, run your own meerkat village kind of thing, I think it could be very popular and fun. But will they go that route? Who knows? Personally, I’m a fan of Orangutan Island.
Orangutan Island…how dare you?!?!
No, its ok…but I’ve been thinking though, with Flower dying and just the general sickness that has been plaguing the Meerkats, its looking like they may be replaced by Orangutan Island. I haven’t seen a new episode for the Meerkats in a while. So sad!
I think that it would be awesome to have a video game with meerkats in it!:) Also there has been new meerkat manor episodes go to animalplanet.com/meerkats
Thanks for the info Ko-Ko. I posted this last week. Please feel free to come back and check out the new video clips that I have posted on the Meerkats.
